Suresh Raina is one of the most dependable batsmen for the Indian national team, he is very good in the limited over cricket and in his career, he is the one who has won the 2011 world cup with the Indian national team and he is someone who has played some handy knock for the team in the difficult time of the tournament and Suresh Raina is also one of the best fielders in the world cricket, and sometimes he can also pluck some wickets whenever the team needed him.
Most of the people are aware of that fact that Suresh Raina’s father Trilok Chand Raina belongs from Rainawari a state which belongs to Jammu and Kashmir and Suresh Raina Kashmiri root he got from his father and his mother is from Himachal Pradesh, Dharmsala and in his family, he also has got three elder brothers named Dines Raina an, Naresh Raina and Mukesh Raina and also he has an elder sister named Renu Raina and the southpaw married to the love of his life Priyanka and now the couple was blessed with two children, their daughter name is Garcia Raina and recently they were blessed with a baby boy.
Since his teenage days, Suresh Raina was an aspirant Cricket and for the passion of this game he left his home town Ghaziabad and moved to Lucknow and since then he learned the game of cricket from there and also played many tournaments for the Indian national team for the Under 17 side and also he has played the Under 19 world cup with the team and later represented Indian team.
At only 16 years of age, he got picked for the under 19 teams and he was a part of the Indian team when the team traveled to England, and later he made his test debut and scored 72 against the English side.
In his first international one day match Raina got dismissed on duck he got bowled by the Sri Lanka prodigy Muttiah Muralitharan when he made his debut for the team he was just 18 years of age at that point of time and he is also the youngest player to represent team India at the Twenty 20 format and under his captaincy, Virat Kohli and R. Ashwin made their debut in the T20 format.
The southpaw is also the first Indian player to score a ton in all the three formats of the game, in 2008 he made his first-ever century in the one-day international matches against Hong Kong in the Asia cup and in the shorter format of the game he made his first-ever century against South Africa in the ICC T20 world cup 2010.
Raina is a very good finisher in his career he 73 run chase matches he played well and he has two centuries during run chase and also 13 half-centuries to his name.
