Zaheer Khan is a former Indian pacer who has played all forms of the game for the Indian national team, and he was among the best bowlers of his generation and in Indian after Kapil Dev, he is the one who has won the 2011 world cup trophy with the Indian national team and in the world cup 2011 he was the spearhead for the Indian bowling line up.

In his career, he has played 14 long years for the Indian national team and also he is among the players who was lauded for his performance for the men in blue team and in his early career the superstar was best known for his seam and pace bowling, Zaheer Khan spin bowling with his pace is something improbable in the world of cricket and rare thing, in this time he is a perfect example for the young talents who wish to build their career in cricket and the superstar in his career also moved to England to improve his bowling skills, the superstar played his first match for the Worcestershire team and in the first match he took 10 wickets in his first innings and in the second innings he managed to pluck nine wickets and he was best known for his both way swings with the balls and also for the swing with the old ball.

Zaheer Khan made his Indian team debut in the year 2000 against Kenya and also he has been an integral part of the Indian national team in the 2003 world cup where the team reached to the finals against the mighty Australians but eventually lost it, also he has played the 2007 world cup with the Indian team under the captaincy of Rahul Dravid but there in that edition of the world cup team India lost their group matches against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and eventually got eliminated from the group stages.

In 2011 world cup, Zaheer Khan was at his best, in 9 games he plucked 21 wickets for the team and he was the highest wicket-taker with the Sahid Afridi and also he is the one who has invented the Knuckleball in the 2011 world cup and also used that delivery.

After the world cup Zaheer Kahn receives the Arjuna award as well from the Indian government and in his career he has also played the Indian premier league with teams like Royal Challengers Bangalore, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Daredevils and also now he is the think tanks of the Mumbai Indians team.

In the year 2015 Zaheer Khan announced his retirement from all the formats of the cricket and right now we have witnessed him as a commentator in many matches and also in 2020 the superstar got awarded with the Padma Shri award from the Indian government.
